Wyoming joins $15 billion LayerZero exodus with state stablecoin move

The Wyoming Stable Token Commission has migrated its Frontier Stable Token (FRNT) from LayerZero to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), which will serve as the token's exclusive cross-chain infrastructure under a multi-year contract. This makes FRNT the first U.S. government-issued asset to join a migration wave away from LayerZero covering nearly $15 billion. Although FRNT currently has a market capitalization below $1 million, the commission said the move followed an extensive security review and marks the first time a U.S. government entity has publicly replaced its blockchain infrastructure.
