Solana activates 350-ms slots on mainnet, boosting transaction speeds
Solana has activated 350-millisecond slots on its mainnet to improve transaction confirmation speeds as part of the Agave v4.2 / Anza rollout. This reduces slot times from 400 ms, with a goal of 200 ms pending validator approval and network conditions. The upgrade also includes increased block compute capacity.
