CFTC approves first US-listed bitcoin perpetual futures contract
The CFTC has approved KalshiEX to list a bitcoin perpetual futures contract in the United States. Perpetual futures have dominated crypto derivatives trading globally but until now were largely confined to offshore venues. The approval opens the door for this product to be offered in the US market.
